About the Instructor
Our Instructor, Dr. Sheema Ahmed, has an experience of 15 years in Singapore with an expertise in Sports Exercise Sciences and Medical Biochemistry and other relevant skills required for being an effective Scientific Worker and a good Teacher.
She strives for academic excellence and impart quality education with emphasis on professional and overall development of students along with good values and behavior.
- Teaching specialization in Medical Biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Sports and Exercise Physiology, Anatomy and Kinesiology, Sports Nutrition, Health and Wellness, Health Promotion.
- Involved in Academy of Continuing Education (CET) from 2008 to present which contributes to adult learning in the area of Sport Science
- Trainer at Republic Polytechnic: Advanced Elective Modules for Sports Science
- Conducted SGUSS programmes on Care for the Elderly with chronic illness
- Collaborated with various universities for Degree programs like Bradford, Northumbria, and Coventry, to develop relevant module contents, creating lesson plans, developing course materials for teaching, setting and vetting question papers, exam evaluation, lab reports, assignments and conducting lab tutorials/workshops.
